Every person has two profile pages, one on their department and one on the Research Directory. Pure does not send all its information onto the departmental webpages. If you update your picture to Pure it will update the Research Directory only. To update your picture on your departmental webpage you need to contact your Faculty Content Officer to change for you.
You will need to look at the url of the webpage. Pages which include are the Research Directory while are departmental.
Students are automatically given private profiles in Pure and need to choose to change their visibility. Only students with public profiles will appear on the university web pages.
This information is brought in from LUSI. Please contact their help desk to change your thesis title.
Only staff costed on the grant are automatically added, but once the project appears in Pure additional staff can be added by the PI/CI by opening up the record and scrolling down to the "add people" section. Search for the person you want to add, click on their name and remember to save the record.
All publications are validated by the library before they appear on the external webpages. Validation usually takes about 48 hours. This allows us to ensure we capture all the information we need to meet the HEFCE/Lancaster open access policy and ensure publications are eligible for REF submission. If a publication you've recently added in Pure is still missing from your webpage please check it's status in Pure. If it is marked "for validation" you will need to look at it's History and Comments tab to see if you have been left a message by the library.
First you need to log into Pure.
Then click "Edit Profile".
Scroll to the bottom of the page and change the "Visibility" to "Public - No restriction".
Then click "Save".
